Revolutionary New Nationwide High School Athlete College Placement Tool Unveiled

ORLANDO, Florida - The National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) has given iHigh.com, Inc. the exclusive license to develop and promote a revolutionary new tool to aid the high school student-athlete in the college placement process.
iHigh.com has developed the first nationwide high school athletics placement network for athletes. iHigh.com will allow - at no charge - high school student-athletes to place sports-oriented profiles, stats, videos and other information on its Web site to be viewed by prospective coaches, as well as by other high school student athletes. The high school student athlete's Web pages also will feature video clips and live video from a variety of games and other events.
The license agreement was announced during NACDA's 44th Annual Convention in Orlando, Florida.
"This will simplify the process of high school student-athletes identifying prospective college teams," said Mike Cleary, executive director of NACDA. "It will help high school student-athletes provide materials to college coaches, and it will be a faster and more efficient way for college coaches to keep tabs on the progress of high school athletes. In addition to the consolidation of data, this service is free to the high schools."
"By working through America's collegiate athletics directors, the high school student-athlete knows they will have an audience with college coaches," said Tim Campbell iHigh.com's president and CEO. "This allows a student-athlete to keep a college coach up to date on his or her progress, even to see a live game without having to travel to that athlete's school. This will dramatically increase the access student-athletes have to college."
Currently, coaches must keep track of high school student-athletes through campus visits, DVDs and other means. This new system will reduce the need for travel, videos and expensive services, yet keep the coaches updated on the progress of the athlete's performance on the playing field as well as in the classroom.
"The student-athlete can go to our Web site and sign up today. Schools can also develop - at no cost to them - a school athletics web page, as well as stream live and recorded video. They'll even be able to provide live Webcasts of their games," Campbell added. "Imagine how wonderful it will be to have friends and family members throughout the world be able to watch a local school's games on the Internet."
