149 Kentucky Schools Now Part of the iHigh.com Sports Network

As the fall sports season kicks into high gear at Kentucky's high schools, the iHigh.com Kentucky sports network is growing rapidly. That means more Web traffic to high school iHigh Web sites and more high school games streamed live on iHigh.com. Currently, 149 schools in Kentucky have joined the iHigh.com High School Sports Network. That's more than half the Commonwealth's high schools, with many now adding iHigh's latest offering of live video streaming. For example, fans of Lexington Henry Clay, Ballard Memorial, Nicholas County and many others can now enjoy live video coverage available worldwide of many sports, including football, basketball and volleyball.
"Our growth has been phenomenal and is proof that iHigh.com is exploding in popularity," said Tim Campbell, president and CEO. "This means that anybody in any part of the world can watch a game for free live on iHigh.com. It's terrific for family members who want to see a loved one play their favorite sport, as well as for college coaches who are looking at high school players to bring in future talent."
One Kentucky high school - Ashland's Paul G. Blazer - boasts the top iHigh.com site in the nation with more than 580,000 pages viewed last year. Nationally, iHigh covers all 22,000 schools with more than 2,200 schools now signed up to be a part of the national iHigh.com High School Sports Network.
In addition, thousands of Kentucky high school students are expected to sign up to put their profiles, videos and photos on MyiHigh. This allows student-athletes to create a personalized Web page devoted to their athletic accomplishments, complete with game video. This new concept has received the approval of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) because it will allow coaches to view game videos and student-athlete performances without having to travel to games or review hundreds of videotapes or disks.
Kentucky schools and student-athletes not yet part of the iHigh.com Sports Network can join for free. To register, or for more information, log onto www.iHigh.com.
