Home » Track & Field News Julie Snyder at the NIKE OUTDOOR NATIONALS June 24, 2008 By Daniel Otten of Celina High School Click to view the gallery Recent Celina graduate (2008) Julie Snyder concluded her high school track and field career as a participant in the NIKE OUTDOOR NATIONAL Track and Field Meet held June 20-21 at North Carolina A & T, in Greensboro, NC. Julie competed against many of the nations best in the long jump and 100-meter hurdles. On Friday Julie took to the hurdles, running 14.94 in her preliminary heat. She took 4th in the race, but failed to qualify her to the evening's final. Julie's time placed her 16th in the field of 27. On Saturday Julie leaped 17' 11.75" in the long jump which was good for 11th of the 30 LJ'ers. CONGRATULATIONS JULIE - ON AN OUTSTANDING CAREER REPRESENTING YOURSELF, YOUR FAMILY, AND THE CELINA COMMUNITY!
